I am a regular here.  Very regular.  If you have not eaten authentic, Penang style Wan Ton Mee, this is the place.  At RM 3.30 you have the dry noodles with the little dumplings.

This noodles here dates back to the 1960's.  If you have not heard of Lorong Susu, no worries, I bet you have heard of Poly Cafe at Pulau Tikus, well they use to sell there.
And if you have not heard of Poly Cafe, of the older generation, I am sure you have heard of So Young Cafe at Batu Lanchang, well, the owner's mum is still selling there.
I hope all these rings a bell, otherwise please don't call yourself a Penangite!

The Chef at work

The signature wan ton mee @ RM 3.30
don't forget the pickled green chillies

Tong Po Yoke noodle of the day - Saturday @ RM 5.00
a little too fatty for me
They have increased the selection instead of just the signature noodle.
I strongly recommend the signature noodle.
This is the only thing I eat there cause it is the BEST!

we tried the prawn dumplings
nice :-)

Ambience can be a little crowded on a weekday lunch time
best time to go is lunch time on Saturday

the ever smiling and friendly owners
makes the noodles even tastier when it is service with a smile

and the best part is you can check them out online
they even have their own website
how cool can this get
now you know why it's the BEST in town
Check out the website for the menu and prices ...
