If you are a fan of Lam Mee then this one you must try. It is situated at Macalister Road, just opposite the junction of Abu Siti Lane and Macalister Road. Only recently, 15-8-2012, the couple has moved to this food court called Pinang Delicious Food Court. Food court is closed on Fridays. Plenty of carparks available at the back.
Please do NOT go to the WRONG one at the corner round the bend, Ah Seng Fu Kui Mee, which is the imitation version.
Look at the queue on a Saturday morning. Open from 830am till noon, when soup has finished they call it a day.
Husband and wife couple works very efficiently together.
As the saying goes, there are many ways to skin a cat, thus, also the same principle applies to the many ways you can eat your birthday mee.
Of the many ways I have observed, here are the 2 common ones :
- pour all your sambal over the noodle and mix mix mix
- take your sambal bit by bit as you savour the noodles
both ways are as yummy
Add fish ball RM 4.50
Normal portion RM 3.50
BEFORE
AFTER
Penang Foodie's Suggestion :
Best on an early morning rainy day ... add fish ball ... down together with a cup of local kopi o = satisfaction
