Foodie's Best in Penang List - Ah Piu Duck Rice

Ah Piu Duck Rice located at Star Hotel, junction of Jalan Cheong Fatt Tse and Carnavon Street.  This coffee shop was higlighted in the previous Hokkien Mee post - check out Foodie's Best in Penang List - Hokkien mee, ambience and Kopi O rating are all there.
Food rating           :    5 stars
Value for money   :    3.5 / 5.0 stars ( a little more than the market rate, but worth it  - good stuff don't come
                                                                                                cheap, right ? )

Duck rice  -  Lunch Only

Home roast pork, something you have to order as a side dish

Don't forget the home made sauces as well

Soup is complimentary, taste awesome if you are not too early (cause the lady boss keeps adding the duck bones as it boils),  however, if you arrive late, there may be no more soup for you ....

Foodie's recommendation  :   Order half a duck, additional roast pork, add sauce and drink the complimentary soup (serves 4), if can't finish - ta pao

And this is where the Kopi O magic happens ...
Good ambience
Good coffee
Good food
Gets a little crowded during lunch time though

'International tek chia' drink (picture below) pormoted by the old man (above) ... if you are in marketing or sales, you may learn a trick or two from him, really push sales, can be irritating but extremely effective, cause if you look around, almost every table orders the drink, as for me, I stick to my kopi O

Don't forget to try the Hokkien Mee in the morning,
Also highly recommended by Foodie ...
