Korean @ Daorae

 Happy December :-)
A month of school holidays ...
This place needs no intro.
Of the few Korean outlets around, I like this one best.
Service is superb.
Efficient and friendly.

 Two outlets in Penang
Have you tried the fried rice?
It's rather special with 'tang hoon' inside.

So if you order 2 BBQ dishes, you will get the egg pancake as a complimentary dish.
And the egg pancake is really nice too :-p

This hot pot has lots of goodies inside.
If you are a pork person you will love it.
This post just acts as a school holiday post for you guys out there who want to take the kiddies out for something different.
Happy Holidays :-)

                                              Address:92, Campbell Street, 10100 Penang
                                              GPS: 5° 41′ 82.35″ N, 100° 33′ 32.96″ E

Just the sight of the fried rice will make your mouth water.
Why is it ranked the Best in Penang ?
Not too dry ...
Not too oily ...
Perfect 'Wok Hei' ...
Plenty of 'Liao' ...
Excellent !
Super Yum ... please try it ...
If you are a local and have avid photographers as friends they would have taken shots of Old Penang here.
Ambience is superb just as you sip your chinese tea and enjoy the hustle bustle of the restaurant.
Just try not to look down on the sticky floor ...
It has been around for four generations now and is still growing strong :-)
While you are there, try the chicken too ...
Don't forget the chilli sauce.
One of the best in town.

This is a local delicacy.
It is like shark fins soup with noodles inside.
Very few places sell it now.
'Hou thou noodles'
Another MUST try!
This restaurant also sells dim sum in the wee hours of the morning.
Dim Sum is average.
If you are catching an early flight, here is a place where you can have something to eat before leaving for the airport as they open pretty early.

High ceiling for good ventilation.

Excellent ambience.
Good for locals and definitely recommended for tourists.
Happy week ahead, folks ...
