Ocean Green Seafood Restaurant

Saving the best for last ... as the Feasting Chinese New Year Season for 2013 is coming to an end ... I bring you Ocean Green
A well established seafood restaurant with great local ambience, fresh seafood, friendly atmosphere this is a place that is absolutely loved by tourist and also the locals :-)
Come a little early, just before sunset and you will see this spectacular view as you sip on your wine deciding what to order.
Sometimes you may catch a group of people on their excursion taking snaps of their wedding photos.

Ok, lets get on with the food.
Fresh prawns, as they are, super yummy.
They satay here is unique, the sauce is already on it RM 1.00 per stick

Cheese crab is a MUST order
Fried oyster with egg - oh chean in Hokkien
Spicy style fish, come with Bee Hoon, you also have a choice of steam fish if you do not like spicy.  Also a large variety of other fishes if this is not your style.
Crabs are fresh and a choice of many ways on how you want them cooked.

Something refreshing and not so heavy the Kerabu Tang Hoon is a lovely combination with all the heavy seafood.
This one is an original ... rarely served elsewhere ... a tapioca dessert, another MUST try

This is THE MAN to look for, Desmond, super friendly and he will help you in making your choices for a delicious evening meal ... just let him know what you want.
So far, most reviews of this place is superb.

Suggestions for your CNY blast :-)

In view of the Snake Year ahead, Foodie has decided to recommend some delicious highlights for the festive season.  So we shall put the Street Food aside :-)
This is the first of the many suggestions and highlights to come ...

One good venue for reunion is Maple Palace.
It is elderly friendly and disable friendly as we will be meeting old folks, with good carpark and also minimal steps to the restaurant.
Although they charge a little bit more than the market rate, the suckling pig here is highly recommended.  Not too fat with some tasty pork and crispy skin.
Highly enjoyed by both the young and the old.

With the heavy main dish, opt for the fish pot which is super yummy as well. Also loved by the young and old ...
Nice, healthy, clear soup after a heavy, oily main dish.

This place also promotes their crispy duck dish at a special rate, which to Foodie's opinion is too dry and not very tasty.

Foodie's Choice - Suckling pig with Fish Pot and great company.
To enjoy this 2 dishes best to just have a company of 6 pax, so that all will be able to enjoy a satisfying, full meal.
